Like peeling an apple, Only to find there is nothing underneath.

I don't think anyone could ever get use to the sound that failure makes.

Myopia is an eye condition also called near- or short-sightedness. Those with myopia see nearby objects clearly ,but distant objects appear blurred.
This is as simple as it gets.
Take it or leave it.

Oi.
This is very lovely.
It causes me to think, though,
I have trouble becoming accustomed to the sound of success.
An empty apple? I imagine one would have trouble peeling something off of nothing, unless the skin was so finely peeled that some of the skin remained. Even that is mind-bending.
I don't think I'd ever get used to the sound of an apple peel being removed from void. It hurts and is uncomfortable and I DUN WANNA THINK ABOUT IT ANYMOAR!
Accustomed to the sound that failure makes?
Depending on what the sound is,
I'm sure a defeated soul might find it something to hold on to, and relate to.
Ah, well. Maybe they are indeed only being short-sighted, and are truly unaccustomed to the sound, but ignore it or are unaware of the uncomfortability.
MAYBE I'm just taking this allll the wrong way.
By the way... is it "get use" or "get used"? I forget, and it probably doesn't matter.
